"Then He touched their eyes saying, "It shall be done for you according to your faith." - Matthew 9:29
This passage is more than a healing story. It is a revelation of how heaven meets earth... how belief, longing and divine power align in a single moment.
Two blind men have been following Jesus, crying out--not for healing, but for mercy. That word alone stopped me. Why mercy? They could have shouted "Heal us!" like others did. But they didn't. Maybe, deep inside, they saw themselves as-- unworthy, overlooked, insignificant, forgotten by society. Or maybe it was something more beautiful: a humility that understood they were in the presence of someone greater, someone holy. And so, they didn't demand. They pleaded. They trusted. They cried "Have mercy on us,"
And still, Jesus didn't immediately heal them.
He turned and asked, "Do you believe I can do this?"
This question pierces. Jesus, the all knowing, doesn't need confirmation--but He wants their participation. He wants their faith to rise... to be spoken aloud. And only when they said 'yes'--only when faith met surrender--"He touched their eyes."
And they could see.
That moment revealed three scenes etched deep in my spirit;
1. They followed without seeing: These two men pursued Jesus despite their blindness. They moved toward a voice, a hope, a name. Maybe they were just desperate. Maybe they longed to see the One the crowd adored. Or maybe something in their soul knew: 'if they could just reached Him their lives would change forever.'
2. They asked for mercy fot for miracle: The word-mercy- tells us they came low, not proud. Maybe society labeled them worthless. Maybe they had labeled themselves that way. Yet still, they cried out. Humility gave their faith power.
3. Faith made healing possible: Jesus could have snapped His fingers, but instead He waited for their affirmation. "Yes Lord." And then He said--"According to your faith, it shall be done."
The modern world full of gurus preaching menifestations, mindsets, and the "law of attraction." But the real blueprint was never hidden. It was never a secret. God laid down the structure in Jesus' own time;
- Focus on what your heart longs for. Even in the dark, walk toward it.
- Cry out for it. Own your desire. Be relentless, let your soul scream louder than your limitations.
- When heaven confronts you and says "Do you believe' Respond with a bold "Yes!"--and let your faith bring the invisible into the visible.
Because that's what faith does.
- Faith lives in the unseen places of our lives.
- It breathes in the quiet corners where doubt whispers.
- But when called upon, when summoned with all the courage we can muster--faith creates.
It is not magic. It is not merely positivity
It is heaven's power meeting a heart that dares to believe.

So Lord, let this be my prayer.
Touch my eyes again. Awaken my faith. Teach me to believe--until what You have spoken becomes what I see.
